This is the final project for the Digital Painting Course at Art Soup, Vietnam. The goal of the project is to create 2 characters from a fairy tale in stylized, casual style. I chose the tale of "Jack and the Beanstalk" since I really like this story.
First, I created a moodboard consisting of whatever I wanted to put in my final project for the character of Jack. It included everything from the art styles, clothes of the character or some items used by the character.
Next, the character design and painting process. I wanted to make this character active, dynamic to create a happy, excited atmosphere.
Then, I repeated the process for the character of Jack's mother, started with the moodboard.
And finally, the second character of this project.
